Chair: Matt Riggins

Matt Riggins was elected Chair of the Burlington County Democratic Committee in June, 2024.  He is the Executive Vice President & CFO of his fourth generation’s family business, Riggins, Inc., a mid-market energy and transportation business in South Jersey and served as the Chairman of the Burlington County Bridge Commission from 2019-2024.  He previously worked as a management consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, where he advised clients such as the Department of Commerce, National Science Foundation, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and was involved in the implementation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act after the Great Recession in 2009. Riggins also served as Legislative Assistant and Deputy Communications Director for Congressman Robert Andrews.  He received his MBA from Georgetown University and his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University, and resides with his family in Moorestown NJ.
